I (re)started this newsletter to share my ideas on a way to look into 30 years into the future as a strategic model for living today. I believe that taking the long-term perspective is critical to setting and achieving short-term goals.
I am also human, and sometimes I get in my own way. I let my head get filled with doubt and uncertainty, and that can begin a spiral.
All plans for improvement are subject to derailment, but very few plans for improvement acknowledge this.
Typically, a plan tells you what to do, when to do it, and provides the critical step-by-step guide to getting it done. But how often does it provide insights and guidance on the setbacks? The obstacles? The demons that haunt us all, testing our wills with negativity, doubt, and derailment?
Yeah, that’s reality.
So, what are some of the ways in which I am being haunted by these demons and pushed off the ledge I just managed to reach?
